During his career, L.W. Staehle drew cachet designs for a number of different FDC publishers. Some criticized his work as being garish, but today he is considered one of the great cachet artists of all time. Design numbers are from The Cachet Catalogue of Staehle and Knapp by M. Douglas Parks. Please expect most Staehle covers to be addressed. Items available may in some instances differ from items shown (addressee, etc.).
